Tiff and Tom's Rabbitry
Holland Lops & Lionheads
Rabbits are intelligent creatures capable of strong bonds with their humans. This is one reason why rabbits qualify to be registered as Emotional Support Animals and are used in the treatment of issues like depression, anxiety, phobias, and other emotional or psychological conditions.
A quick search online will provide you with articles and testimonies of how rabbits have helped people with issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma therapy, and even phobias. Their nature is gentle and when they feel safe and respected they are consistent and loyal companions.
This is why it's important to research how to bond with a rabbit. As intelligent prey animals they require a unique approach, but once you learn how to meet them where they're at and earn their trust you will have a dear friend for life! Rabbits bonded to their families become more than pets - they become family!

Did you know that domestic rabbits can jump up to 3ft. and can run up to 35 mph? They can also be trained to answer to their name, come when called, do tricks, run agility courses, respond to commands, and use the litter box when given enough space to live. As naturally curious creatures they thrive with proper mental stimulation and interaction with others. Educating yourself about their specific needs is an important part of deciding whether or not you should pursue adoption.
