Adorable. Playful. Family.

It's undeniable that rabbits are adorable, but they're so much more than that. Rabbits are intelligent, energetic, playful, and loyal. When properly cared for and provided a safe environment to thrive in rabbits bond deeply with their humans and become more than pets. They become family.

Did you know domestic rabbits can jump up to 3ft. and can run up to 35 mph? They can also be trained to answer to their name, do tricks, and use the litter box. Rabbits are curious creatures and thrive with proper mental stimulation and interaction with others.

These are all reasons why our babies are raised indoors in large nurseries with lots of stimulation and human interaction from the time they're born. Giving them a large space to grow up in allows them to run, binky, climb, explore, and play from the moment they're able to adventure out of the nest.

This means our bunnies come to your home prepared for and expecting a similar environment. Our rabbits are litter box trained from the time they're old enough to hop in the box and by the time they leave us they're well on their way to being fully trained so you have less to worry about!

While rabbits don't thrive when kept in cages anyway, you should expect that our rabbits could exhibit unwanted behaviors if you intend to keep them in cages for long hours.

How do I Prepare for a Rabbit?

When preparing to bring a rabbit home the first thing we recommend is that you research free roaming, appropriate bunny housing, and the exercise needs of rabbits to determine if you're able to provide the space they need. Free roaming doesn't have to mean they have access to the whole house. Some people will designate certain rooms or parts of certain rooms for their bunnies.

Try not to be overwhelmed by the picture "free roaming" brings up in your mind.
Remember that rabbits are not large animals, many people are able to provide for them while living in small city apartments. While they're young and new to your home they'll need to be more contained, but there are ways to do so while offering them appropriate space.

Once you know you want to move forward with purchasing a rabbit you'll need to prepare a place for them to come home to. Visit our Recommended Products page for help setting up for your bun.
