Rabbits are adorable, but they're so much more than that. Rabbits are intelligent creatures that, when properly cared for, bond deeply with their humans and become more than pets- they become family.
If you're considering bringing a rabbit into your family we hope you'll check out our Learning Resources to watch  some of our favorite educational videos with information on bunny intelligence, behavior, training, and needs- as well as information on how to bond with your bunny and the unique ways they "play".

Did you know domestic rabbits can jump up to 3ft. and can run up to 35 mph? They can also be trained to answer to their name, come when called, do tricks, respond to commands, and they easily use the litter box when given enough space to live. Rabbits are curious creatures and thrive with proper mental stimulation and interaction with others.
These are all reasons why our babies are raised indoors in large nurseries with lots of stimulation and human interaction from the time they're born. Giving them a large space to grow up in allows them to run, binky, climb, explore, and play from the moment they're able to adventure out of the nest. It also helps them learn the differences between living spaces and potty places.
Our bunnies come to your home prepared for and expecting a similar environment. Our rabbits are litter box trained from the time they're old enough to hop in the box and by the time they leave us they're well on their way to being fully trained so you have less to worry about!

How do I Prepare for a Rabbit?
Important Things to Know Before Bringing Your Bunny Home

First, We Recommend You Research Housing Your Bunny.

Visit our Learning Resources page to find videos about:
  • Appropriate Housing & Habitats
  • Exercise Needs of Rabbits
  • Necessary Supplies (Food/Water, enrichment, Hidey, etc)

Rabbits aren't large animals. Many people are able to provide for them while living in small city apartments or rented rooms. While they're young and new to your home they'll need to be more contained, but there are ways to do so while offering them appropriate space.

Next We Recommend You Research Health Needs/Concerns.

While learning about how to house a rabbit is an important part of researching rabbit care, there's more to consider and understand before committing to adoption.

You'll want to research:
  • Rabbit Life Span (It's a longterm commitment)
  • Proper Diet and Dangerous Foods
  • Teeth Care and Symptoms of Dental Issues
  • GI Stasis Prevention and Treatment
  • Grooming Dos and Don'ts
  • How to Pick up/Hold/Transport a Rabbit
  • Bunny Proofing
  • Where to Find a Local Exotic Vet/ Emergency Hospital
  • The Value of Spaying/Neutering Rabbits
  • How Fear Impacts Rabbit Health (It's a life and death matter)

All of our bunnies are sent to your home with printed information about many of these topics. However, it's important to remember that we never come to the end of learning so staying on top of current information is an important part of caring for your rabbits over the many years of their life.
Next Steps:

If you have any questions that our website doesn't address please call or text us at the number listed below. It's  important to us that you understand what you're committing to; please don't hesitate to reach out.

  1. If after researching all that goes into owning a rabbit you decide that you want to proceed with adoption, the next thing we recommend is that you view our available rabbits: (Available Babies, Available Young Rabbits, In the Nest)
  2. Next be sure to carefully read our Sales Policy & Guarantee.
  3. If you agree with our terms of sale, please fill out our Application for Adoption. If you're interested in a specific litter or bunny that you saw while searching our available rabbits be sure to let us know on the application.
  4. Once we receive your application we'll email you our response within 24 hours (usually within the hour). If you still want to proceed you'll need to reserve the bunny by submitting a down payment as per our sales policy. Bunnies will not be held without a downpayment even if you've submitted an adoption application.
